As a result of their visit we have more students choosing to take part in foreign exchanges including to our partner school in India. Many of the mentors are still in contact with the Japanese students they befriended during their stay; I suspect they will be lifelong contacts. For a school in a rural area the opportunity to have a glimpse of a different culture changes our students view of the world.
