"Japan Foundation for Intercultural Exchange (JFIE) is a non-profit organisation (recognised by the Japanese Government; Economy Planning Agency) which was established in July 1992 by a group of people who aim to develop cultural awareness and global perspectives among young people through various educational programs. JFIE believes that it is most effective to provide experiential learning opportunities in different cultures, lifestyles and values.
