Homestay one to one tuition

Programme Description

• Learn English with a homestay family

• Number of lessons is FULLY FLEXIBLE - from 5 hours/week minimum to 25 hours/week

• Lesson timing is FULLY FLEXIBLE, by agreement with your host family. Usually there will be no lessons on Saturday or Sunday.

• Number of nights you can stay at your homestay is FULLY FLEXIBLE

• You can come with a friend and do 'two to one' homestay

Cost of the Programme

Our Homestay one to one is made up of two elements: homestay and tuition. Because you can arrive on any day, stay as many nights as you want, and choose any amount of tution hours, the cost is fully flexible. Please fill in an enquiry form to us to give you a quote.

Programme Includes

• All coursebooks, including a CHE coursebook, with CHE special curriculum for the first 5 or 10 hours tuition per week
• Bed & breakfast, dinner, lunch (either in the house or packed), clothes washing etc

Requirements or restrictions

- Minimum age is 17 years of age
- Minimum payment for the homestay element is SEVEN nights
- No lessons arranged on arrival or departure day
- Lesson timing is to be negotiated between client and home tutor
- CHE cannot promise a particular homestay area, but if you have any requests we will try our hardest to fulfill them
- CHE may choose not to run our homestay tuition during our peak seasons from July to mid August, or other peak seasons

International summer school

Even if you are an individual student, you can still join one of our partners' summer camps.
Usually set in beautiful private schools, they have fantastic facilities and often a choice of dormitory stay or homestay. In addition to English study, you can choose from a wide variety of activities to enjoy your study trip - excursions, sports, arts and crafts, water sports, horseriding, golf, etc etc. Please see our 'international groups' page for information on the various summer schools there are.

If you know which language school you would like to study at, we can work as your agent here in the UK. This gives you 24 hour backup if you need it. It costs you nothing and sometimes we may be able to arrange a cheaper price than if you go direct to the school! We can also make any other arrangement you need while you are studying here in the UK or Ireland.
